Ingredients
1 tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil
12 oz steak, trimmed of fat and cut into thin strips
1 green pepper, chopped
8 oz jar blackbean sauce
2 tbsp dry sherry
Method
- Heat the oil in a very hot wok and stir-fry the steak for about 3 minutes
until browned.
- Add the pepper and stir-fry for about another 2 minutes.
- Stir in the blackbean sauce.
- Use the sherry to rinse out the sauce jar, then pour into the wok and stir
a final time.
- Serve on a bed of plain rice, with prawn crackers.
