Total cooking and preparation time approximately 30 minutes, plus marinating

Ingredients
1 lb rump steak
1 pint bottle French dressing
2 tsp chilli powder
8 large kebab skewers
2 green peppers
1 small or ½ large red onion
Method
- Cut any fat off the meat and discard, then cut the steak into cubes.
- Put the steak, French dressing and chilli into a bowl and mix well. Leave
to marinate overnight.
- Preheat the grill to the highest setting.
- Meanwhile, soak the kebab skewers in cold water, then drain.
- Chop the pepper and onion into pieces approximately the same
size as the beef.
- Place chunks of beef, onion and pepper onto the skewers
alternating between each.
- Grill for 15 minutes under a hot grill turning halfway through cooking.
- Serve with
American-style salad and
yellow rice.
