Ingredients
2 large sirloin or rump steaks
1 tsp garlic, crushed
½ tsp salt
½ tsp coarse ground black pepper
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp Danish Blue cheese, crumbled
3 tbsp white wine
¼ pint double cream
1 tbsp olive oil
Method
- Preheat the grill to the highest setting.
- Sprinkle the steak on both sides with the garlic,
salt and pepper.
- Drizzle with the olive oil and grill on high for 3-5 minutes each side
depending on how you like it done.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan, add the cheese, wine
and cream, and mix to form a smooth sauce.
- Serve the steak with the sauce poured over the top, with green beans and
mashed potatoes.
