Ingredients
6 tbsp margarine
6 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp golden syrup
1½ cups porridge oats
½ cup dried apricots, chopped
Method
- Preheat the oven to 190oC / gas mark 5.
- Put the margarine, sugar and syrup into a saucepan and heat gently until
the margarine has melted and the sugar has dissolved.
- Stir in the oats and the apricots.
- Grease a shallow baking tin then pour the flapjack mixture into it
spreading it out evenly.
- Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
- Leave to cool then cut into wedges.
