Ingredients
4 ripe bananas
4 large knobs of butter
8 tbsp dark rum
4 tbsp soft brown sugar
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180oC / gas mark 4.
- Peel the bananas and place each on a separate piece of foil large enough
to wrap it in.
- Add a knob of butter, 2 tbsp rum and 1 tbsp sugar to each banana.
- Wrap the bananas in the foil to make parcels, place on a baking tray
and cook in the oven for about 30 minutes, until the banana is fairly soft.
- Serve with good quality vanilla ice cream.
