Ingredients
4 ripe Williams pears
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp clear honey
1 tsp ground cinnamon
For the minted mascarpone:
1 tbsp dried mint
1 tbsp caster sugar
8 oz mascarpone cheese
Method
- Preheat the grill to the highest setting.
- Cut the pears into quarters lengthways, remove the core and sprinkle with
lemon juice.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan, remove from the heat and stir in the
honey.
- Line a baking tray with foil and lay the pears on top. Brush with the
butter-honey mixture, sprinkle with cinnamon, then grill for about 5
minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix the mint, sugar and mascarpone together in a small bowl.
- Serve the pears with a dollop of mascarpone.
