Serves 2

Ingredients

4 tbsp cornflour
4 tbsp cocoa powder
4 tbsp sugar
1 pint milk
2 tbsp chopped walnuts
2 tbsp brandy
4 tbsp single cream

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients except the nuts and brandy together in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Pour into a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring continuously.
  3. Lower the heat and continue to stir until thickened.
  4. Stir in the brandy and walnuts.
  5. Serve warm or cold with a drizzle of cream.
