Total cooking and preparation time approximately 15 minutes

Ingredients

1 lb strawberries
4 tbsp fruit liqueur
½ pint double cream
6 small meringue nests

Method

1. Put the strawberries in a bowl and add the liqueur. Mix well and leave to stand for at least 10 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, whip the cream until it forms soft peaks then add the strawberries and their juices.
3. Top the meringue nests with the strawberry and cream mixture.
4. Serve.
