Serves 4

Ingredients

8 boneless smoked mackerel fillets
1 tbsp horseradish sauce
4 tbsp crème fraiche
1 tbsp lemon juice
½ tsp salt
½ tsp coarse ground black pepper
1 bag mixed leaf lettuce

Method

1. Cook the mackerel fillets in the microwave according to the instructions on the packet.
2. Meanwhile, mix the horseradish sauce, crème fraiche, lemon juice, salt and pepper together in a small jug.
3. Put the lettuce leaves into a bowl, add the horseradish dressing and toss.
4. Serve the mackerel with the dressed salad and crusty bread.
