Ingredients
4 rashers unsmoked bacon
2 large soft white rolls
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 cup iceberg lettuce, chopped
1 tomato, sliced
1 tbsp butter for spreading
Method
- Preheat the grill to the highest setting and grill the bacon for about 5
minutes, turning halfway through, until slightly crispy.
- Meanwhile, cut the rolls in half and spread with butter.
- Spread the top halves of the rolls with mayonnaise.
- Arrange iceberg lettuce on the bottom half and top with tomato slices.
- Arrange the bacon on top of the lettuce and tomato and replace the top
halves of the rolls.
- Serve with good quality potato crisps.
