Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small or ½ large onion, finely chopped
4 rashers bacon, cut into strips
15 oz tin baked beans
1 tsp English mustard
1 tsp Marmite
Method
- Heat the oil in a frying pan on medium heat and fry the onions, garlic and
bacon for about 5 minutes, until the onion has softened.
- Add the beans, mustard and Marmite.
- Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
- Serve with grilled tomatoes and toasted wholemeal bread.
