Ingredients
2 large croissants
2 tbsp butter
2 thick slices of ham
4 oz Emmental, Gruyere or medium cheddar, sliced
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200oC/gas mark 6.
- Cut the croissants in half lengthways and butter each half.
- Place a slice of ham on the bottom half of each croissant and top with
cheese.
- Replace the tops on the croissants, transfer to a baking tray and cook in
the oven for about 4 minutes until the cheese has started to melt.
- Serve with mixed leaf lettuce and tomato slices.
