Ingredients
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 small or ½ small onion, halved and sliced
8 frankfurters
8 soft white finger rolls
4 tsp English mustard
4 tsp tomato ketchup
Method
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat and fry the onion for
about 5 minutes until softened and slightly browned.
- Meanwhile, cook the frankfurters according to the instructions on the
packaging.
- Carefully cut a slit into the top of each roll to about halfway down.
- Place one frankfurter into each roll.
- Top with onions, mustard and ketchup to taste.
- Serve with good quality potato crisps.
