Serves 4

Ingredients

14 oz tin tuna chunks
8 oz tin sweetcorn
½ pint jar mayonnaise
8 slices white bread
2 tbsp butter

Method

  1. Mix the tuna, mayonnaise and sweetcorn in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Butter the bread.
  3. Arrange four of the buttered bread slices on a flat surface, butter-side up, and top with the tuna-mayonnaise mixture.
  4. Cover with the remaining slices of bread and then cut in half diagonally.
  5. Serve with good quality potato crisps.
