Ingredients
4 wholemeal pitta breads
7 oz tin tuna chunks
2 tomatoes
¼ cucumber
1 packet mixed leaf lettuce
4 tbsp mayonnaise
½ tsp salt
½ tsp coarse ground black pepper
Method
- Toast the pittas breads lightly.
- Meanwhile, drain the tuna and slice the tomatoes and cucumber.
- Mix the tuna, mayonnaise, salt and pepper together in a bowl.
- When the pittas are done, make a cut in one side of each and stuff with a layer of lettuce followed by a layer of the
tuna mayonnaise mixture, three slices of cucumber and two slices of tomato.
- Serve.
