Serves 2

Ingredients

4 wholemeal pitta breads
7 oz tin tuna chunks
2 tomatoes
¼ cucumber
1 packet mixed leaf lettuce
4 tbsp mayonnaise
½ tsp salt
½ tsp coarse ground black pepper

Method

  1. Toast the pittas breads lightly.
  2. Meanwhile, drain the tuna and slice the tomatoes and cucumber.
  3. Mix the tuna, mayonnaise, salt and pepper together in a bowl.
  4. When the pittas are done, make a cut in one side of each and stuff with a layer of lettuce followed by a layer of the tuna mayonnaise mixture, three slices of cucumber and two slices of tomato.
  5. Serve.
