Ingredients
2 lb boneless pork belly, in one piece
2 tsp five spice powder
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp sesame oil
4 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp clear honey
Method
- Place the pork in a shallow dish, skin side up.
- Mix the remaining ingredients together in a cup or small jug and spread
over the pork skin.
- Leave to marinate overnight in the fridge.
- Preheat the oven to 200oC / gas mark 6.
- Cook the pork for 1 hour, then remove from the oven and leave to rest for
10 minutes.
- Slice along the grain and serve with lettuce, tomato and red onion salad.
