Total cooking and preparation time approximately 25 minutes

Serves 2

Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil
1 large or 2 small onions, sliced
1 lb pork sausages, cut into quarters
3 tsp paprika
¾ pint chicken stock
2 cups dried pasta shells
½ tsp salt
½ tsp coarse ground black pepper

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan and fry the onions for about 5 minutes until softened.
  2. Add the sausages and 2 tsp paprika to the pan.
  3. Stir well and cook for about another 2 minutes.
  4. Add the stock, salt and black pepper, and cook for about 15 minutes until the pasta is al dente.
  5. Divide between the plates, garnish with the remaining paprika and serve with crusty bread.
