Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
1 large or 2 small onions, sliced
1 lb pork sausages, cut into quarters
3 tsp paprika
¾ pint chicken stock
2 cups dried pasta shells
½ tsp salt
½ tsp coarse ground black pepper
Method
- Heat the oil in a large saucepan and fry the onions for about 5 minutes
until softened.
- Add the sausages and 2 tsp paprika to the pan.
- Stir well and cook for about another 2 minutes.
- Add the stock, salt and black pepper, and cook for about 15 minutes
until the pasta is al dente.
- Divide between the plates, garnish with the remaining paprika and serve with crusty bread.
