Ingredients
2 cups fusilli pasta
8 oz smoked sausage
1 small or ½ large onion, chopped
14 oz tin chopped tomatoes
½ pint water
1 tsp sugar
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp dried parsley
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ cup grated white cheddar
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180oC / gas mark 4.
- Place the pasta in a baking just large enough to hold it in a single
layer.
- Add the sausage and onion.
- Mix the tomatoes, water, sugar, garlic, parsley and Worcestershire sauce
together in a bowl or jug then pour over the other ingredients in the baking
dish.
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle on the cheese.
- Return to the oven and cook for about another 15 minutes, until the cheese
has melted and the pasta is al dente.
- Serve with crusty bread.
