Ingredients
2 tbsp sunflower oil
2 chicken breast fillets, chopped
1 tsp ginger, chopped
2 fresh red chillies, sliced
2 tsp five-spice powder
2 large or 6 small spring onions, chopped
1 tsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp clear honey
1 tbsp lemon juice
½ tsp salt
½ tsp coarse ground black pepper
1 lb precooked egg noodles
1 handful of fresh coriander leaves
Method
- Heat the oil in a very hot wok.
- Add the chicken and stir-fry for about 5 minutes, until no pink is
showing.
- Add the ginger, chillies and five-spice powder. Stir.
- Add the spring onions, soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Cook for about another minute
and stir again.
- Add the noodles and coriander. Stir a final time and cook for about
another 2 minutes, until heated through.
- Serve with prawn crackers.
