Ingredients
4 boneless chicken breast fillets, diced
8 spring onions, cut into 1 inch strips
6 kebab skewers
For the marinade:
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 tbsp clear honey
1 tsp sesame oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tbsp root ginger, finely chopped
Method
- Put the chicken pieces into a large bowl.
- Add the marinade ingredients, mix well and leave in the fridge to marinate overnight.
- Put the kebab skewers into a bowl of cold water to soak.
- Preheat the grill to the highest setting.
- Drain the skewers then place the chunks of marinated chicken onto them,
alternating with pieces of spring onion placed crossways.
- Grill for about 12 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Serve with sweet and
sour vegetables and plain rice.
