Ingredients
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
4 large potatoes, sliced
¼ pint milk
2 tsp garlic granules
¼ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp salt
½ tsp ground white pepper
Method
- Preheat oven to 190oC / gas mark 5.
- Grease a baking tray with butter.
- Arrange the potatoes in the tray in layers.
- Stir the milk, garlic, nutmeg, salt and pepper together in a jug, and pour enough of the mixture over
the potatoes to cover.
- Cover and cook in the oven for about 45 minutes.
- Uncover and cook for a further 15 minutes to brown.
- Serve.
