Ingredients
8 oz tagliatelle
2 tbsp olive oil
12 oz closed-up mushrooms, halved
2 oz butter, cut into chunks
1 tbsp dried sage
Method
- Cook the tagliatelle according to the instructions on the packet, until al
dente.
- Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan on medium-high and fry the
mushrooms for 7-8 minutes, until cooked, then set aside.
- Drain any remaining oil from the frying pan and discard.
- Add the butter, increase the heat slightly and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the butter
goes brown and smells slightly nutty.
- When the tagliatelle is cooked, drain and return to the saucepan.
- Add the mushrooms, brown butter and sage and stir until well mixed.
- Serve with crusty bread.
